I am a painter, illustrator, and designer from Massachusetts and I graduated the University of Vermont (UVM) in May 2019. My major was Studio Art with a Neuroscience minor. I also studied a variety of other topics during my time at UVM including computer science, geography, Arabic, and various humanities courses. Since graduating, I traveled to Southeast Asia then lived, and worked in the wasatch mountains of Utah for the 2020 winter season. During the covid-19 pandemic, i have started an etsy shop to make masks and other items, and started pursuing a nursing career along with my creative endeavors.
I have always been keen on innovating and creating in any way possible. From suspending ropes courses off my swing set to spending my afternoons in the art room, my passion for taking risks to create or experience something new and original has always been prominent. My variety of interests create vibrant portrayals of our internal and external experiences, emotions, and form. In my formal education, I have studied drawing, painting, digital art, woodblock and silkscreen printmaking, ceramics, and graphic design in my time at UVM. Professionally, I have done freelance work since high school for organizations and individuals along with my eclectic array of jobs. Outside of my life as an artist, I draw energy from the outdoors where a lot of my loose and organic inspiration comes from.
