A final project for an english class titled "Survival and Change"; mixed media using recycled materials, image transfers, pastels, pen and ink, and acrylic paint. The prompt was to portray how literature serves the reader and why it is central to our culture. The thought behind this piece was that whatever you read, it reaches for you even if you don't ask for it; literature will provoke thought, teach you something, and inspire you with vast opportunities of this world, real or imagined.
